The Position

As a mission driven co-founder you will be part of the founding and core management team. You execute the company’s vision and ensure that strategic business goals are met. You will do so by jumping head first into strategic, marketing, operational, product and finance related tasks, thus accounting for all critical functions of a typical early-stage startup and its overall success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business’ core activities in detail and set up all required processes for a successful market entry.
  • Find, negotiate, and close suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Build up relevant sales channels and the complete marketing strategy from scratch, i.e. by launching a first online presence, reaching out to potential sales coop partners etc.
  • Own the fundraising process (projections, pitch deck and VC meetings) and secure the first pre-seed VC money for your startup.
  • Own the operative KPIs, financial model and investor reporting.
  • Recruit, build, and manage a team of A-players.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of high-performance environments: E-Commerce, Startup, strategy consulting, investment banking, VC – previous experience as a founder is a strong plus.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to build vendors, supplier, and contract manufacturer quality programs and requirements,
  • Entrepreneur and executer: You have a bias for action and are able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment; you are independent and get energy from building things from scratch.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills – clear, concise, and persuasive in style.
  • Comfortable when making decisions using limited information and resources.

The Position

  • Experience in addressing the third and fourth age target group.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally to manage a large group of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the med-tech environment, chronic diseases and health claims regulations.

Carbon Farmed is a portfolio company of Atlantic Food Labs with the mission to scale up Carbon Farming as the future of sustainable agriculture and food production. We are looking for a co-founder with outstanding marketing & branding skills and experience in food / FMCG to help us achieve our vision.

Carbon Farming? Carbon Farming is a form of agriculture that can reverse this trend by capturing CO2 from the atmosphere and storing it in soils. Carbon Farming has the potential to capture and store between 4 and 11 Gigatonnes of CO2 globally each year. This makes it one of the most powerful methods we can employ to combat climate change and minimise global warming.

 

Whom we are looking for:

Our mission at Carbon Farmed is to accelerate the uptake of carbon farming and maximise the amount of CO2 captured as quickly as possible, because time is critical. This is what drives us, and we are looking for a Co-Founder (m/f/x) who shares this drive, and who wants to take ownership of the B2C consumer side of the business. In this role, you will develop our brand, engage with our community and work with food producers, retailers and supply chain stakeholders

Your focus areas (to be further defined jointly):

  • Brand development and positioning strategy for a new food brand focusing on CO2 reduction
  • Product and brand development in cooperation with retailers, discounters and food producers
  • Setting up and maintaining a strong network with partners

Die Rolle: Head of Marketing & Customer Experience (m/w/d)

In dieser Rolle bist Du Stratege und Umsetzer zugleich. Du wirst mit uns ein Start-Up skalieren, in neuen Märkten launchen, unsere Customer Base vervielfachen und dementsprechend schnell mit uns wachsen. Hierfür brauchen wir neben deiner CRM- und Marketing-Expertise auch deine Analytik und Umsetzungskraft. Du bist Sparringspartner auf Augenhöhe für unseren CEO sowie das restliche Gründerteam zu allen Fragen rund um unsere Customer Experience. Du ownst den gesamten Customer-Lifecycle, führst unser Marketing- & Customer-Success-Team und hebelst Product und Sales durch Campaigns, Insights und Strategieempfehlungen.

 

Deine Aufgaben

  • Du steuerst, motivierst und baust unser Marketing- & Customer-Success-Team (6 Teammitglieder) auf
  • Du definierst und verantwortest die komplette End-to-End-Ausführung des Customer-Lifycycles (On-boarding, Activation, Lifecycle und Reactivation)
  • Du konzipierst und führst Werbe- und Reaktivierungskampagnen über alle CRM-Kanäle (E-Mail, Push, Web-Push, in App, offline) in Deutsch und Englisch durch
  • Du planst und führst von A/B-Tests über die verschiedenen CRM-Plattformen hinweg durch, um datengesteuerte Entscheidungen zu treffen und die Konvertierungen zu verbessern
  • Du analysierst, optimierst und automatisierst unsere Campaigns und Prozesse
